Walton and Cobham Community Hubs

Walton Charity took over Walton & Cobham Community Hubs (formerly Walton & Cobham Centres for the Community) in August 2026. This move helped to secure the hubs’ future, and ensure that they remain much-loved community spaces in Elmbridge.

The new hubs will provide welcoming spaces for local people of all ages, creating more opportunities to connect, take part in new and existing activities, and access support.

Walton Community Hub

Working in partnership with Walton Charity, local charity Voices of Hope has taken on the day-to-day running of the hub, creating a welcoming and inclusive community space for people of all ages.

As the hub grows and develops it will also offer:

  • More community activities and events

  • A community café

  • Local partnerships and shared services

  • Wellbeing programmes

  • Volunteering opportunities

  • An office base for Voices of Hope

Cobham Community Hub

While Walton Charity has taken ownership of the Cobham Community Hub, it will be run by Cobham Community Hub CIC. This is a community interest company set up specifically to run the reimagined Cobham Community Hub in partnership with Walton Charity.

The CIC will bring together members of the community, established local charities, and user groups to provide oversight and operational support for the hub.

Our vision is to create a new welcoming and sustainable Community Hub that benefits more people in our local area.

Following a short period of closure, the Cobham Community Hub is now partially open, offering a small programme of activities and services. More activities and events will be introduced over the coming months as we work towards the hub being fully operational by January 2027. We look forward to welcoming more people as the programme develops.
