Walton Charity is a local charitable foundation. Working with our community and our local partners, we want to build an Elmbridge community free from poverty where we can all thrive.
Grants
We provide funding to local schools and partner organisations across Elmbridge to administer at their discretion, as well as a direct grant vocational fund. We also award grants to local charities and organisations tackling poverty and inequality in Elmbridge.
Food and support
The Walton & Hersham foodbank is part of Walton Charity and runs four weekly sessions across the area. We also have The Bridge, which is our shop-without-a-till for working families struggling financially. Coming soon: the next phase of The Bridge, offering a larger, more accessible space.
Property
We provide discounted office space to local organisations based in Elmbridge, plus independent living for people aged over 55, affordable key worker properties, and social housing for single people at risk of homelessness.
Green spaces
We make our green spaces available for local people and community groups. We run a community allotment and Space to Grow sessions, both of which are focused on wellbeing, plus corporate volunteering days.
