Community Allotment

Walton Charity has created a Community Allotment at the largest of our four allotment sites on Terrace Road, Walton on Thames.

From our sessions run on Tuesdays and Fridays 10am-12:30pm (excluding bank holidays).

Sessions will run until late October 2026. We will use the closure over the winter to prepare the site, make some plans for the new year, and get everything ready for another exciting spring! During the winter, we will also offer occasional craft sessions at our indoor space.

Our Community Allotment is a place for people from all walks of life to come together, socialise and learn new skills. It encourages those who feel isolated or who face barriers because of mental or physical health conditions to join in regular outdoor activities, building confidence and independence.

Everyone is welcome to take part. No tools, skills or experience are necessary.

How to get here

The entrance to the community allotment is located on the A3050 (Terrace Road). The gate to the site is opposite the road called Tithe Close.

If you walk directly through the middle the Community Allotment is on your right-hand side. The gates of the allotment are locked outside opening hours.

It has given me so much joy and I have made so many friends. It has given me something to look forward to every week.
