Social Housing

We have a small number of social housing properties which we use to house single people in need. These properties are owned by Walton Charity but managed by other housing providers. During 2016/17, we housed 30 vulnerable people in partnership with Elmbridge Rentstart and Transform Housing & Support.

3 former staff accommodation houses now provide 10 rooms in total for non statutory single homeless people and these are managed by Elmbridge Rentstart. In addition to providing the accommodation, Elmbridge Rentstart also provide tenancy support and help access appropriate welfare benefits for their clients. For more information about their services see

In 2015 we merged with Thames Homeless Project and through partnership working with Kia Motors (UK) Ltd and Elmbridge Borough Council, we purchased a three bedroom house in Hersham. The property provides shared supported housing for 4 people who are homeless or at risk of becoming so. Transform Housing & Support manages the property, giving each person one-to-one support to help them address the issues they are facing. For more information please visit
