The Bridge @ Church Farm is a community hub supporting working families from across Elmbridge, or who have links to Elmbridge, who are struggling financially but cannot access, or receive limited, government (or other) support. Families who are going through a change in their employment or financial circumstances and waiting to receive government support are also welcome.
What support is available at The Bridge?
The Bridge @ Church Farm incorporates The Pantry @ The Bridge, where families can pick-up fresh, frozen and cupboard food and household supplies at low cost, freeing up money for other family essentials like utility bills and school uniform. There are also rentable meeting spaces for other charities and there will soon be a community café available on site.
How does it work?
Members will pay just £10 each time they visit, and in return can access food worth far, far more - saving at least £30 a week. There is always a wide selection, including fresh, frozen and long-life options, fruit and veg, family favourites and non-food essentials. Members will also have access to specialist advice services.
Who can come to The Bridge?
The Bridge is open to working families (with children under 18) from across Elmbridge who are struggling financially but cannot access, or receive limited, government (or other) support. You must be a member to use The Bridge.

Opening times:
Tuesdays 1.30-4pm, Wednesdays 10am-12.30pm and 4-6pm and Thursdays 10am-12.30pm

How is The Bridge different to a foodbank?
Unlike our local foodbanks who provide emergency food for people in crisis, The Bridge offers longer-term support for working families who are struggling with rising living costs but have limited support available to them.
The Pantry @ The Bridge is one of 120 Pantries all over the UK. Pantries bring people together around food, soften the impact of high living costs, reduce shopping bills and give people some much-needed financial wriggle room. They’re also places for local people to meet and chat, lighten the load together, and share ideas that can start making change happen.
